On Wednesday 27 November 2024, the annual laureates' concert of the Georges Octors Prize will take place in the Gothic Hall of Brussels Town Hall. This prestigious prize, established in memory of conductor Georges Octors, awards the most promising talents of the two Royal Conservatories of Brussels.
Benjamin Dieltjens, professor Clarinet and head of the Wind department at Koinklijk Conservatorium Brussel, has nominated clarinettist Emanuele Mammarella as the laureate. He will share the stage with Yeosong Chang, laureate of the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, for a concert showcasing the expressive power of the clarinet.
With young talent, a historic setting, and a programme that highlights the versatility of the clarinet, this promises to be an evening to remember.
