Music Chapel Festival: four days of Italian music and culture (4-7/12/2024)
As winter sets in and the days grow shorter, the 15th Music Chapel Festival invites you on a sunny journey to the heart of Italy, a land where music resounds as a hymn to joy and life. From 4 to 7 December, ‘Journey to Italy’ brings a feast of Italian music to the Music Chapel. With opera, baroque, chamber music and romantic masterpieces performed by top artists and young talents, this promises to be an inspiring experience.
Besides the main concerts, the festival offers a varied side programme, Fest'OFF, with lectures, workshops, singing events and activities for children.

- 4 December, 20:00: Opening concert by the MuCH Ensemble conducted by Massimo Quarta
- 5 December, 20:00: Opera arias with singers in residence and the Orchestre de l'Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège
- 6 December, 20:00: Baroque evening with Il Gardellino (Vivaldi and Pergolesi)
- 7 December, 16:00: Final concert with Berlioz's Harold in Italy and Respighi's Pini di Roma

The Verbier Festival Orchestra (VFO) invites young musicians (aged 18–28) to apply for its 2025 training programme. This prestigious opportunity brings together rising talents with world-renowned conductors and soloists.

The Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel hosts open masterclasses in violin, viola, cello, voice, piano, and chamber music. Renowned soloists guide these sessions in a pedagogical setting.

Free Youth Concerts: Hayoung and SongHa Choi
The Queen Elisabeth Competition presents a series of free concerts in March for young people under 26, featuring performances by sisters Hayoung Choi (cello laureate 2022) and SongHa Choi (violin laureate 2024).
Locations: Leuven, Louvain-la-Neuve, Brussels (Flagey, 12 March 2025, 7 pm).
Programme: Mozart, Gabrielli, Kodály, Kreisler, Xenakis, and Halvorsen.
