SONICO

Founded in 2015 in Brussels, Belgium, SONICO is the only group in the world dedicated to re-evaluating and performing the music of Eduardo Rovira. Originally started as a quartet, SONICO has since grown into a 10-member multinational ensemble, one of the few specialised modern tango orchestras in Europe. The group stands out not only for its historically informed tango performances, but also for their archaeological archive research: through their detailed transcription work, SONICO brings lost and unpublished repertoire back to life.

Besides this concert SONICO also teaches a two-day Tango workshop.
