Heinz Holliger week

From 4 to 7 February, Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel will be dedicated to Heinz Holliger, one of the most influential composers, conductors and oboists of our time. During this unique week, we will discover the versatility of Holliger's oeuvre.

The programme consists of lectures, master classes, meetings and concerts - including a recital by Heinz Holliger himself and a concert with the Symphony Orchestra of the KCB conducted by him. A special opportunity to learn about the music and vision of a living legend.

  • Recital Heinz Holliger (oboe, piano, Sprechstimme) and Jan Michiels (piano). 
    Featuring works by Britten, Ravel, Messiaen, Kurtág, Holliger.

05.02.2025

Start: 18:30 - 21:00 | Location: Kleine Zavel 070
  • Masterclass with students (for concert 07.02).

06.02.2025

Start: 20:00 | Location: Flagey Studio 4
  • Symphony orchestra KCB conducted by Heinz Holliger.
    Featuring works by Webern, Schubert, Schubert/Moser, Holliger.

Location: Kleine Zavel 070
  • 10:00 - 13:00: masterclass with students (for concert 07.02).
  • 14:30 - 17:00: meeting with oboists, conductors and composers.
  • 19:00: chamber music by Heinz Holliger, performed by students KCB.
