Heinz Holliger absent due to illness

We regret to inform you that Heinz Holliger will not be present due to illness. However, he has expressed his gratitude for the attention given to his work and the special week dedicated to him. Despite this unexpected turn of events, the programme remains a unique opportunity to explore the richness of his oeuvre and his close connection to Schubert’s music. Additionally, Heinz Holliger will be seen and heard in a recorded video. We wish him a swift recovery and look forward to welcoming him to Brussels in the future.

Heinz Holliger week

From the 31st of January till the 7th of February, Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel will be dedicated to Heinz Holliger, one of the most influential composers, conductors and oboists of our time. During this unique week, we will discover the versatility of Holliger's oeuvre.

The programme consists of lectures, master classes, meetings and concerts - including a concert with the Symphony Orchestra of KCB. A special opportunity to learn about the music and vision of a living legend.
