The Russian pianist Xenia Pestova Bennett is one of the great revelations of contemporary classical music.
The Taranki Daily News rightly identified her as ‘a new star in the sky’. Her interpretation of Stockhausen’s Mantra with Pascal Meyer is now considered one of the benchmark recordings of this masterpiece from the latter half of the 20th century.
