Researchers from LUCA School of Arts, the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel/Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Orpheus Institute present a new book on composer Paul Gilson. During this book launch at KCB, where Gilson trained a new generation of composers, the authors will focus on the many facets of Gilson's life and work, with a particular focus on his national and international importance.
As part of this book launch, the authors are organising a roundtable discussion with experts from the music field. Together, they will discuss the challenges involved in the performance and dissemination of Flemish music.
Five authors of the seven are researchers at the KCB.
