Did you know that organising musical duels between rivals was a favourite pastime for Mozart and his contemporaries? These duels were the ultimate way to showcase their skills and win over audiences. The Historical Performance Practice Ensemble, led by violinist-conductor Ryo Terakado, brings these historical showdowns back to life in this "battle of two giants." The brilliant Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is pitted against Czech composer Jan Ladislav Dussek, one of the very first renowned piano virtuosos of the 18th century.
