Requiem – W.A. Mozart

No other work in music history is surrounded by more legends than Mozart’s Requiem. This vocal masterpiece leaves no one untouched and ranks among the composer’s most beloved works. The evening’s concert, performed by the KCB Choir and KCB Alumni Orchestra in cooperation with symphoniaASSAI, begins with the surprising and imposing Insanae et vanae curae by Mozart’s contemporary Joseph Haydn. Additionally, two other short choral works by Mozart will be performed: the third setting of Regina coeli and the well-known Ave verum corpus. The concert will be performed in cooperation with students Choir of the Kunsthumaniora Brussel. The concert will be conducted by David De Geest.
