He finished his studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia. He did postgraduate studies in London at the Royal Academy of Music and later studied natural and baroque horn at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

He has been a member of the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla and of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria. And, as well, he has collaborated with the principals Spanish symphony orchestras: Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya, Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias, and others.

In the field of historical interpretation, he is a member of Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla. He plays frequently with Estil Concertant, Orquesta Barroca de Mallorca, Capilla Peñaflorida, Orquesta Barroca de la Universidad de Salamanca, Capella de Ministrers, Al Ayre Español, Hippocampus, La Grande Chapelle, Los Mvsicos de su Alteza, Nachtmusique Ensemble, Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, Freiburger Barockorchester, Les Musiciens du Louvre.
    
He has recorded and participate in larges productions and tours with conductors as René Jacobs, Frans Brüggen, Marc Minkowski, Barry Sargent, Sigiswald Kuijken, Eric Hoeprich, Monica Huggett, Diego Fasolis, Andrea Marcon, Christophe Coin...

In 1999 he was distinguished Associate Member of the Royal Academy of Music.

Currently, from 2006, he is a professor at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Sevilla.
