Vriendenkring van het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel asbl brings together sympathisers of the Conservatoire and people with a warm heart for classical music, jazz or musical.
The association is committed to the support and promotion of the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, offers material and moral support to students, graduates and teaching staff, and contributes to the image of the Conservatoire at home and abroad.

The non-profit organisation “Vriendenkring Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel” is actively committed to discovering, supporting and guiding young musical talent, offering them valuable opportunities to develop artistically and professionally. Thanks to its efforts, promising musicians get the chance to refine their skills, gain valuable stage experience and develop their career in the music world, including through mentoring, networking opportunities and collaborations with renowned professionals.

Activities
To achieve this mission, the organistion organises various initiatives, such as:
Concerts and other performances, for example the Alumni Sound Series concert series on the first Sunday of each month during the academic year, at the Musical Instrument Museum.
Competitions, such as the Toots Thielemans Jazz Award.
Providing financial and material support to students and graduates.
