Soprano Ilse Eerens joins KCB's teaching team

As of the academic year 2024-2025, the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel welcomes the soprano Ilse Eerens.

Ilse Eerens is praised for her radiant voice, musical sensitivity and versatility. She has an international career in opera and concerts, with a repertoire ranging from Bach to modern works. Having trained at the Lemmens Institute and the New Opera Academy, she won prizes at the International Vocalist Competition and the ARD Musik Wettbewerb, among others. Recently, Ilse performed at the Monnaie Theatre, the Salzburg Festival, the Opéra de Lyon and with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Besides her performances, she is also a teacher of classical singing at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague.
