Professor Daniël Blumenthal contributed to 'Retro' a movie about art in times of war.

Retro returns silent voices from the past to life, through the myriad European witnesses of the Resistance; and through the work of notable artists of the first half of the 20th Century who kept on creating, playing the piano and singing, while dancing on the edge of the volcano. Against a somber background dense with meaning and the crushing memories of two world wars, the film leads up to the beginning of the Cold War.

KCB professor Daniël Blumenthal contributed to this movie about art, singing, playing piano and dancing on top of a vulcano. 

Retro will premiere on the 30th of September in BOZAR
