As of the academic year 2024-2025, the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel welcomes the mezzo-soprano Michèle Losier.
French-Canadian mezzo-soprano Michèle Losier stands out for her rich voice, musicality and strong stage presence. She shines in the French repertoire and in roles by Mozart and Richard Strauss. Losier has performed at top opera houses such as the Opéra de Paris, La Scala, Wiener Staatsoper, and the Metropolitan Opera, and has worked with renowned conductors such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Zubin Metha. Her concert repertoire includes works by Berlioz and Mahler, among others. An alumna of McGill University, she is principal study teacher at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Antwerp, and from 2024 also guest teacher at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
