The Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel was invited to the Sichuan Conservatory of Music, China

On Saturday November 30th 2019 Cléo Dahan, Sara Gabalawi, Lorenzo Paniconi, Istvan Spasik and Xinyi Zhang accompanied by teachers Bart Bouckaert and Peter Swinnen headed for the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in Chengdu (China).

During a 10-day exchange within the framework of the 15th SUN RIVER PRIZE (2019) Students' New Music Composition competition, they gave concerts, workshops and masterclasses in cooperation with colleagues from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. This enabled the performance of the creations of young composition students. The expertise of our Contemporary Music class was highly appreciated in Chengdu. It became a special experience for all involved, both on a cultural and human level.
