Decease of Bernard de Launoit

It is with great sadness that we learned the news of the decease of Bernard de Launoit, CEO and executive chairman of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.

He passed away after an illness against which he had been fighting with all his strength for six months. He was a charismatic leader, inspiring, with a sharp mind, always looking for new projects and working for the Music Chapel until the end. He had a great passion for art under all its forms and a boundless love for classical music. The Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel's thoughts go out to his wife, his children, his family and friends.
