Adam Solya, KCB professor, helps bring in World Championship silver figure skating!
Loena Hendrickx conquers silver
On the 25th of March 2022 in Montpellier, France, 22-year-old Loena Hendrickx became the first Belgian to win silver at a World Figure Skating Championships!
With 142.70 points for her freestyle, she brought her total to 217.70 points, just 1.35 points below her personal record (219.05). Only Japan's Kaori Sakamoto did better with 236.09 points. American Alysa Liu took the bronze with 211.19 points.
"This is really fantastic", reacted Adam Solya choreographer and second coach next to Jorik Hendrickx.
"Deep in my heart I felt she was going to show her best skating today. I am very proud that she has perfectly interpreted my creation. Loena gave a great, powerful performance. It was so beautiful and the audience loves her."
