Inge Spinette studied at the Royal Conservatory Brussels and obtained the Higher Degree for piano with great distinction in the class of André De Groote. Hereafter she specialized in song accompaniment at the Guildhall School in London, where she obtained post graduate diplomas for song- and opera-accompaniment. Her teachers were a.o. Graham Johnson, Helmut Deutsch, Gérard Souzat and Dalton Baldwin. Since 1992 she is repetitor at the Royal Opera House in Brussels with concuctors as Antonio Pappano, Kazushi Ono and Alain Antinoglu. Regularly she’s invited to accompany singing competitions – a.o. the Queen Elisabeth Competition (2000,2004,2008,2011,2018). She accompanied masterclasses by Vera Rosza, Lucienne Van Dijck, Grace Bumbry, José Van Dam, Sarah Walker, Raina Kabaivanska, Sir Donald MacIntyre, Udo Reinemann, Stuart Burrows, Andreas Scholl and Tom Krause. As a song accompanist she’s present on several stages in Belgium and abroad with singers such as José Van Dam, Sophie Koch, Katarina Gubanova, Christianne Stotijn, Iwona Sobotka, Jennifer Larmore, Nathan Berg, Franz-Josef Selig, Juha Kotilainen, Hendrickje Van Kerckhove, Ilse Eerens, Lore Binon, Yves Saelens, Tijl Faveyts, Reinoud Van Mechelen and Jan Van der Crabben. With pianist Jan Michiels she forms the YINGYANG pianoduo. She recorded dozens of cd’s with a broad repertoire – the cd ‘Le Promenoir des deux amants’ (Fauré, Duparc, Debussy) obtained the Grand Prix du disque lyrique in Paris.
