Adriaan Joaquín Correa, born in Amsterdam to a Chilean father and a Dutch mother, is an innovative percussionist and producer who bridges different musical styles and cultures. With a background in psychology, electronic music, and Latin music, he began his percussion career at the age of fifteen. He studied at conservatories in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Havana with top musicians. Correa is the founder of the Latin Society Foundation, an organization making Latin music accessible to a wider audience, and works as a musical director for Latin artists such as Rolf Sanchez. This year, he is launching his music school, the Latin Society Academy, and a solo project focusing on Dutch music.
