Oboist Mathilde Lebert has no less than three diplomas: one (2006) from the Conservatory of Nantes (her hometown), a Master Degree (2011) from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon and she obtained a Konzertexam soloist diploma from her studies with Christian Schmitt in the Stuttgart Musikhochschule.
As a student, she played regularly with the prestigious orchestras Opernhaus Zürich and the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse. Since 2006, Mathilde has been playing with the K-Wind Quintet, one of the most promising ensembles of its kind. Afterwards, the oboist was named principal oboe at the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris (2015), among others, and since November 2017, she performs as Principal Oboe at the Orchestre National de France. Not forgetting that Mathilde was a first prize winner of the Muri International Competition of Switzerland, in April 2016.
This Masterclass is co-organised by our oboe professor, Karel Schoofs.
